No Amazon Prime in the TV app

Can someone explain to me how I get Amazon Prime content to appear in the TV App on iOS and/or ATV?

in my country (Belgium) I only have access to 2 channels (one of which is ATV+) so that route isn’t working. But I do have the Prime app installed, it’s just not sharing any content with the TV app. Is there an option for that? Or does this only work in the US?

As Apple gives everything the same name, it’s hard to google info on it.

It should do it automatically, you could have a look in Settings then Apps, TV and see if Prime Video is on under connect to tv.

Should Prime be listed under TV settings? Because there’s nothing there.

I just tried logging in with a US Apple ID in the iTunes and App Store and Prime content automatically appeared in the TV app. It doesn’t play however as the Prime app shows an error US content is not available on a Belgian account. And I could contact Customer Service to change the region.

But I notice the Prime content is vastly different in both regions. And with a US Apple ID I don’t have access to ATV+ anymore. Having everything integrated seems impossible for now. My TV app will remain exclusively used for accessing ATV+ content.

Mystery solved.
