No animation when iPhone is placed in Apple Silicone case

Does anyone know if there's supposed to be an animation when iPhone 15 Pro is placed in the official Apple Silicone case?

Seller is Amazon AU.

Tried both with the phone screen locked and unlocked. But there's no animation.

Update:

Spoke with Apple customer care and was told the case could either be defective or counterfeit.

Initiated a return at Amazon and ordered another one on Apple site.

Does it not show the charging symbol on the battery icon?

Did the case come with any info that shows the "animation" that you seem to be looking for?

I am referring to the animation you see at 4:11 timeframe in this video for example:

Mine only does the animation 1/3 of the times and I bought it at the Apple Store.

I’ve had them in the past straight from apple in the past that only did that animation occasionally.
