no apple mail notifications

I have an Apple Watch 5 and do not get alert notifications of emails coming in. Yet I have tried 2 other 3rd party email clients that support AW and have had notification alerts from both, can anyone help or explain, please

Go in to the Watch app on your phone and make sure you've got notifications for Mail turned on (or mirror iPhone settings). It may have somehow been inadvertently turned off.

I am having the same problem with the stock mail app. My phone and iPad give me email alerts but my watch hasn’t been lately. I have mirror my phone option ticked.

I have three mail accounts in the mail app, I get notifications from one of them on my watch. All three set up the same way regarding notifications.

I get notifications in my iPhone and on my iPad for all three accounts.
