I think the issue is that we've been more-or-less lead to believe that an Amazon video app was/is coming really soon, and Amazon just really recently started selling the Apple TV after a long time of refusing to.
Now it's gone again, and as such, we (I) can't help but think that this is Amazon holding out on the app once again -- and being super-hilariously-embarrassingly petty about it.
