No apps switch from the upper left with iPhone X ?

I finally have the iPhone X 256GB space grey with iOS 11.1. It seems that the apps switcher from the left upper side is not working or not available. Is it the same for those of you who already have an iPhone X with iOS 11.1 ?

Left upper side app switcher? Not sure what you are talking about there...

No, the 3D touch app switcher is not for X. That's something I'm missing a lot too, mainly when I'm using the phone single handed with my left hand

Yes it does, though it’s the whole left side not just the “upper”.

X’s method is easier I’d guess.

An app switcher from the upper left is not. 3D Touch along the left edge of the screen on non-X iPhones is.

I never could get the 3D Touch way of app switching to be reliable enough to use. I find the home bar on the X more reliable.
