Suddenly, after updating to 10.9.3 my Mac Mini, which is my media center thinks has no audio devices. Not even an internal speaker. I have rebooted it, and my Bose that it is connected to but nothing.

Any one else had this issue, and if so, have you managed to fix it without a complete reinstall?

Thanks

What output do you have now in "systems preferences" -> "sound"?

There was nothing under output devices. I landed up re-installing fresh. Now everything is fine even though that included the 10.9.3 update. Weird.

Yeah, I have the exact same problem with my Macbook Air after updating 10.9.3. I've tried every solution possible found online, and no lucky. Though I should try a restore.
