Hey everyone, my first post but I'm always reading and getting awesome answers for my mac problems. For once, after reading everything I could find and trying all I could, I still can't seem to get audio working on my windows partition.

Here's my setup, iMac core 2 duo, 2.00 GHz, 4Gb ram

I've tried the swenum trick, the machine.inf trick, reinstalling drivers and everything, yet still to no avail.

I have the yellow exclamation for the unknown PCI device, and no plug and play device enumerator... Experts Please! I'm pretty good at following directions and I'm pretty sure I did everything right while reading all the other forums, but something is still very wrong... Here's hoping! Thanks in advance

    No Audio Device

Had the same problem on Macro Pro with OS X

I was able to solve the problem as follows:

    1) Start MAc n Windows mode then insert the OS X disc .
    2) If it auto executes Boot Camp setup cancel the install the process.
    3) Nevigate to the following folder:
    \\Boot Camp\Drivers\Cirrus
    4) Double click the set-up file CirrusAudioXP.exe
    5) Follow the setup steps.

After this my audio came alive and all was well.

For whatever reason this driver did not load on initial install or any subsequent intall. (I never saw the repair button that was mentioned in documentation).

Perhaps some you you have the same problem and this may work for you.
