No audio in Screen Sharing in OS X Lion?

I have a music video playlist that I put on screen sharing and all I get is video, but no audio.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that the VNC protocol doesn't support audio. I'm not sure what you're trying to do will work.

yeah, not sure why you would think you'd get audio

because it used to work. somebody came over and set it up, now it's not working and i can't get a hold of him.

I'm curious as to how your buddy set this up because VNC certainly doesn't support audio over network. It's just not in the spec.

Remote Desktop Connection supports it, but VNC doesn't.
