No battery-bands?

    Am surprised Apple didn't make bands made out of tinny batteries. Airplanes' wings are fuel tanks, so why not?

    great film...but about the bands...

    Smart Straps is a proposal from pebble where the watch is one thing, but you change the strap depending on the functionality you want. So the strap can contain a GPS Module, or a battery

    Unless Apple designed a way for the power to get from the band to the battery in the watch a battery band would not work well.
