Honestly, I learned of this yesterday folks. This isn’t a news section so I’m not sure why people are calling this “old news”. The person isn’t a reporter....

Regardless, I’m bummed but it’s not a deal breaker. Apparently you can swipe down from the battery to glance at percentage? Not ideal. I’d much rather just have a percentage displayed than a battery icon anyway.

You literally get nothing out of obsessively looking at your percentage all day. I turned it off a long time ago and much happier as a result. The battery percentage is a weird addiction that is hard to comprehend until you stop.

Yes, to him and others this might be a deal breaker.
We all value things different and have different wants so if that's important to him then its his money and his decision right?
I like to know the actual percentage also instead of looking at a battery pic. This way I know if I need to plug in for a few to boost up the battery a little depending on my upcoming planned use for the day.
