I'm so p**sed off that with all the so called state-of-the-art mobile phones out here in Japan, not one phone supports bluetooth! Several companies, including Sony-Ericsson have just brought out a series of new phones (the sony one is basically a digital camera with over 1 million pixels), and they're nice, but I'm getting jealous of you guys in USA/Europe with the iSync capabilities!
I wonder why Japan's so slow to catch onto Bluetooth?

Yeah, but I don't think any of these phones support iSync anyway.

Well, we've been jealous of Japanese mobile phones' multimedia capabilities for years! In 2000 to 2001 I worked for a wireless internet company. At that time, bluetooth was a much-hyped (even more than now) pipe dream, but you guys already had imode (with cHTML support) and color screens! We were stuck with black and white (or black and green) and the crapulent WAP protocol (which we still use, ugh!)

The grass is always greener I guess. :)

I'm sure bluetooth will make it over there soon enough.
