Hello.

I have installed the latest beta and for a few days now I have no brightness control for the screen. The brightness is stuck at mid level and does not change whichever the light level is in the environment. It’s as if the light sensor is broken.

If I select different levels of brightness it does nothing to the display brightness itself.

Now I’m stuck with a screen that is too bright indoors during the night and too dim for running outside during the day.
I did an unpair with my phone but this hasn’t fixed the issue.

This problem did not come up immediately after watchOS 9 update. It manifested itself a couple of days after the update.

Any thoughts? Is it a hardware problem or should I just wait for future watchOS updates in the hope that it will fix things.

The official watchOS 9 won't be out until fall. You should have waited until then. Betas are usually buggy. Is why I never bother with them. No offense, but it's true, speaking from experience.
