I am trying to set up a no cache or cacheless chrome.

I don't want to do any fancy applescripts as I don't want to create a separate app. If I do it this way, when I launch my no-cache-chrome app, the original Google Chrome app pops up on the Dock and clicking on the no-cache-chrome app doesn't bring up my browsing windows. It get's confusing on the dock with TWO chrome icons there.

Through all the sites I've seen that talk about making Chrome Cacheless are either dated, from 09 to even beginning of last year.

Anyone have an updated one? or can give me a step by step walk through on how to make chrome cacheless without going the .app route.

Ok, solved my own problem.

Just made the ~/Library/Caches/Google/Chrome/Default folder read only and started from a clean wipe.

Wondering if this persists through Chrome updates.
