No Click on Magic Trackpad (USB‑C)

I have a year+ old Magic Trackpad (USB‑C) - Black Multi-Touch Surface but all of a sudden the click isn't working.
The mouse cursor is moving but there is no click - neither does a sound emit when pressing the pad.
Is this repairable ?

In Trackpad settings there is an option for “Quiet Click” make sure that is not turned on.
