No Data connection after iOS4 upgrade

I upgraded my 3GS to the iOS4 the other night. After not being able to access my voicemail, I contacted AT&T to fix the issue. They discovered that my phone is not getting any data connection even though I have full bars and can connect to the Edge and 3G networks. They confirmed that everything was fine on their end and then referred me to Apple. I won't be able to get to an Apple store until next week. I'd like to be able to access the internet while I'm away from home. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

Did you upgrade to iOS4 from a jailbroken 3.1.3 phone? If so that's you issue, I had the same problem I fixed it my doing a clean restore. There appear to be other ways as well.
