Just purchased an M1 Mac Mini, connected to my Samsung 49", C49HG9x (3840 x 1080) via HDMI.
All seems to be working correctly, until I restarted the device. In doing so, the Mac Mini does not display anything on the Samsung screen, unless I unplug the HDMI, and reconnect it.
Weird, no? There are no drivers/firmware for this monitor. So, a tad bit confused. The HDMI cable it a high performance cable, provided with the monitor.
Ideas?
