No Drag/Select in Mac Mail Mavericks upgrade

Is there a new place/setting to allow me to use my mouse to drag-select multiple emails at a time in Mavericks upgrade of Mac Mail? its very useful in grabbing lots of messages and moving them all at once... any ideas?😡

"To drag-select multiple emails at a time in Mavericks" works for me (Mavericks and Mail 7.0) as it did on Mountain Lion.

First close all your running programs and reboot. Then upon the reboot boot back in and open Mail. Then drag & drop in Mail can be selected by hold down the 'Shift' key whole select the boxes (in a row) to drag all you want.
