No DVD studio pro, help?

Not sure if DVD studio will pop up, looks like no for now at least. Any suggestions for building DVD and blu ray menus? I know about Encore but pricey. iDVD is okay for now but limited as you all know. Not to mention the new version I can't delete the apple, I could in previous versions, maybe I missed something.
I'm not burning Blu Rays yet but I will be soon so want to be covered.

Thanks for any info.
