No 'Eject' key on iGo Stowaway BT keyboard

I'm using a Stowaway iGo BT keyboard with my Mac Pro while I wait for a replacement Apple Wireless Keyboard.

Most keys work fine, but I need to find a way to 'Eject' CDs and DVDs and there are no normal Function Keys on the iGo. So no 'Eject' key or its PC equivalent F12 key.

Anyone know a key combo to emulate the PC F12 Function key?

Go to Macintosh HD > System > Library > CoreServices > Menu Extras > Eject.menu

This will put an "eject" button up on your Finder bar near the clock.

... or drag discs from the desktop to the trash icon in the dock (it'll commute to a eject icon)

Or option click and select 'Eject' 🙂

Select disc, press command + E.

I'm not familiar with the keyboard you're using but if it's a Windows keyboard and has a Windows key, I believe that key works as Command on a Mac.

So either the Windows or Alt key should mimic the Command function as you said.
