no email access on iPhone 4

I am unable to access gmail on my iPhone 4. I have internet access however. I keep receiving a message that my username/password are incorrect. They are not. I have deleted account and reset, but still no luck. Any ideas??

Try logging in to m.gmail.com ; if you are able to access it from there, something is incorrect in your mail account settings.
