No ethernet connection

hello
i have a problem with the ethernet connection on my mini mac ( mid 2011) version 10.13.6 high sierra ...
from one day to another it stop to work, my modem is okey and i have ethernet connection with my windows computer, so how can i fix this problem?

try:

check with the ethernet cable which works with your Windows computer. If you use a switch try to connect the mini with a confirmed working Ethernet cable directly to your router.

Additionally you can remove the current Ethernet entry in the network preferences and add it again.

i tested the cable with my windows pc and the windows pc had the same problem with the ethernet connection, so the problem is the ethernet cable
