iPhone No Facebook notifications :(

On Monday I got an iPhone 5C and I'm having a problem with notifications for the Facebook app. They work just fine for all the other apps. However, for FB I am only receiving the number badge. I made sure everything is turned on in Notification Center, but still I only get the badge count and no other notification. I tried turning everything off for FB in Notification Center, I tried restarting, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still no notifications. I consider myself to be extremely iPhone savvy and still I have no idea why only one app would be affected.

If you can single out the problem from a single app, then the logical inference is that the app got problem but not your phone. Facebook app always has problems delivering push notifications.

yeap FB, and instagram are pretty bad with push notification from day 1. Sounds and vibration never work for me.

Agreed, FB app is something they'll never get right lol.

You have to go into the Facebook app and in settings set what notifications you'd like.
