My iPhone 14 Pro leather case is in bad shape. I was looking forward to use the new FineWoven case on my phone. But looks like it is only for 15 series.

On top, they discontinued the leather cases for 14 Pro, too. So what am I supposed to replace my case with?

There’s quite a few out there that are similar to Apples. I think Andar is one of them.
Thanks. The Andar case looks good. I really also liked Alcanside cases. Unfortunately, none of them are available natively in Thailand and have considerable shipping fees and I will also have to pay custom duty.

I was in my local Apple store (Germany) the day before the iPhone 15 presentation and they had plenty of leather cases for the 14pro on the shelves. I wish I had picked one up then.
Now suddenly they are no longer being sold and there’s no Apple made alternative.

It’s all a bit strange … I wonder what they’re gonna do with all of the existing stock?

My iPhone 14 pro case is a little beat up as well and discovered the same thing. Just days ago there were plenty of leather case stock at my closest Apple Store and then there were all gone the day the new models were announced. Luckily, I was able to find one, on sale even, at my carrier store so I ordered from there.

I'm not sure if people suddenly wanted cases for their iPhones when they realized cases from Apple were being discontinued or if Apple just pulled them off the shelves and plans to burn them.

Yep, other Apple retailers and online stores still have them. But I am not too keen on getting one anymore. I may buy an Alcanside case.

Wrong. The silicone cases are still being sold officially. Apple is still selling iPhone 12 cases officially so you’re wrong.
That has nothing to do with the 14 Pro being talked about here and fine woven cases it is not receiving. Stay on topic and try to follow….

Then why are they still selling other stuff for it?

There’s clearly a market which sees leather cases as a premium product and would buy one.

I suspect Apple simply doesn’t want these customers walking into Apple stores and seeing that this ‘premium’ product is only offered for the older models.

The FineWoven material is absolute garbage, look for something else. It's bad enough it is being sold to customers on one generation of the phone. Hopefully it is replaced with something useful next year for the 16 line.

You already bought one? What’s wrong with it? I ordered an Alcanside case.

Yeah I bought it and it arrived yesterday. It feels cheap and I can tell how easily it’ll get dirty and damaged. You can see some hands-on videos which came to the same conclusion. I’m sending it right back.

Thanks for the warning. I guess I am lucky then. I really like the curved edges and the texture of the new phones. If/when I do upgrade, I will give it a go caseless
