Ain't that the truth. Did you listen to the One Night Stand back in April? I didn't because I was there in Pirie, partially because I live there and more-so because I was dragged there by two girls into he mosh pit

I can't remember, I haven't really listened in a while, but I used to work in an office full of Aussies so we had it streaming online all the time. I should really get back into the habit of listening to it again.

Because your iPod, if it's anything like mine, is the best radio station in the world?

Care to describe your iPod a bit? Is it a super iPod or something?

Having a built in FM tuner would put me off buying an iPod!
Why do I want something I never use!

I listen to radio on my ipod every time I feel like it - podcasts are really great.
I don't care about news or random music - itunes got that too - what I do enjoy is well made radio shows - that makes me laugh, who cares about AM/FM?

I like to listen to the radio every now and then. Can anyone tell me - why the hell they don't have at least one ipod that can do fm? sure - as hell don't want to schlepp around two gadgets ---

Presumably, the answer is that Apple couldn't conceive a business case for adding FM to the iPod.

Agree not having a radio does seem a bit shortsighted. I live in Australia and in general (OK apart from some of jjj but it does ge a bit monotonous) the radio here is rubbish. Lately been listening to the BBC's listen again and live stream (Chris Moyles is superb). Anyway, a product has just been announced which will keep me happy at least (OK its connected to this radio theme of the thread).

Apple et al should watch out this thing could be huge, also has an MP3 player, expandable memory, recording capability, normal FM radio too ( so I can record BBC Radio 1 while I sleep and listen to it in the day).

I want one.

I would like to see a Radio built in to the iPod but it's not important. The way it is done at the minute with the external device is very neat and the display on screen is nice but having it all in one would be cool.

I can understand why it's not important to some but surely the more features the better and I can't see it upping the price that much. (??)

Maybe Apple is staying clear of built in FM modules because of flight restrictions with them perhaps?
