No force touch or special challenges

I just noticed since the last couple of beta releases that my Apple Watch no longer has force touch. Also noticed that the National Parks challenge was pushed to my activity app. My wife is running IOS 11.x and she received the challenge. I did the challenge anyway and got notification on my watch that I received the award but it's not on my iPhone. I have restarted both watch and phone and nothing. I even unpaired and repaired my phone and watch and still nothing. Looking for input. Thanks in advance.

There’s a thread in the watch section about this. My watch isn’t on the beta but my phone is. Did the challenge twice. Never received the award.

I received the park badge notification while on iOS 11.4.1. Upgraded to iOS 12 and it vanished. Did the exercise and was not awarded the badge. Downgraded and did another exercise and it appeared right away. Definitely an iOS 12 issue. Watch remained on 4.3.2.

I did report this to Apple via feedback. No response, not that I expected any.
