No Free Dock - Wat?

Was perusing Apple's site and...

In the box

iPhone 3G
Stereo Headset with mic
Dock Connector to USB Cable
USB Power Adapter
Documentation
Cleaning/polishing cloth
SIM ejector tool

No dock. But we get a SIM EJECTOR TOOL AKA PAPERCLIP.

Doesn't make up for it in my opinion... Hopefully it can fit into the old dock well enough since I have a spare laying around.

If you look at the picture above the list, the USB Power Adapter that comes with it is redesigned.

I've saved up $700 for the new iPhone since March so a $30 dock doesn't bother me.

Actually, that doesn't bother me, alway connect mine just using the lead.

What actually disgruntled me about the original iPhone, (LOL - "Original"), is that I had to pay £7 for the dock adaptor so I could plug it in to the iPod AV dock when have always given them with iPods, (Yes it's still a sore subject!).

And I bet that the iPhone 3G requires another adaptor for the base at another £7!

Still looks cool though stood in it next to my hi-fi 🙂

Pretty chuffed about the new iPhone, just hope we can buy the phone outright without having to cough for a new contract, (which I know is being discussed in other threads as I write so not intending to hijack!).
