No free space

Hi everyone!

My Mac tells me I have used 748GB of my hard, but I am sure I have not. It was not like this since like 2 days ago. I think there's something wrong with it but I donno what! Any help?

Download and use OmniDiskSweeper. It will provide a sorted list of what's consuming your space.

Could be time capsule snapshots. Go to System Preferences then Time Machine and turn automatic local backups to off.

I turned it off, I got 6 GB free, but thats strange again. I only have 6GB but it should be more

Open Activity Monitor, see if you have huge pageouts.

Edit: This is almost never a problem but last time there was this guy who had close to 100 GB.

Thank you 🙂 The app solved the problem! The trash was using about 400GB !!
