The fact that Best Buy doesn't even stock the yellow, orange or purple iMacs led me to believe these would be online exclusives. And now that the computers are officially available for in store pickup at Apple, these 3 colors are notably absent. A bit of a bummer...

I work at Staples in Canada. Colours were something we rarely see in-store. MacBooks are always Space Gray with Silver or Rose Gold only online. iPad Pros are usually Silver in-store. iPad Airs are uselly Silver with the odd colour showing up in-store. We usually have an even mix of Space Gray and Rose Gold iPads on hand with Silver having to be ordered online which is rarely. iPod Touch is always Space Gray in-store with colours only online.

I’m pretty certain we will get only Silver iMacs in-store and the colours will be online only.

Purple in uk

That many color choices and models is a logistical nightmare for retailers. It was hard enough with iPhone choices, but now do it with a product as large as the iMac... I feel for them and that is really saying something ;).

Best to order a custom configured iMac from Apple Store thru your iPhone app and have it delivered or held at the Apple Store.

I would not be happy if my base iMac came with the dinky tiny keyboard.

I ordered mine with a numeric keypad, inverted T arrows, full sized Touch ID keyboard.

Best Buy will probably have only 1 or 2 units set up, their "Mac display area" is limited.

If you want to see more, go to an Apple Store.

If that's not enough, order from Apple's online page.

Apple’s presentation left something to be desired. Seeing the different colours unboxed by actual customers was much more revealing. The new iMacs look a lot better in customer videos.

I still like the Green best, but the Yellow looks killer and far better than in Apple’s presentation. The Blue and Silver also look quite good. I don’t know about the Purple, but the Orange and Pink are misses to my eyes. Then again I didn’t expect to like them all.
