Surely not?! I loved the genuine leather cases, the wallet magnetic "thing" really is not a replacement.

If there are none, which there may not be... that is a terrible oversight by Apple. Many love the genuine leather cases and personally, have used them since the first one was available. The feel of the phone in your hand is part of the user experience! Mujjo sell them... for anyone who wants an alternative, and they're decent but still not quite the same and don't have the MagSafe built in, so not sure how well accessories would work.
So all we have from Apple now is the finger print magnet clear case and the lint magnet silicone case? Yikes.

If nothing else the lack of an official leather case may just push me to a smaller (cheaper) phone.

They showed off a genuine leather pouch in the keynote. It’s not on the site yet either. I think they just haven’t loaded them up yet just like their magsafe duo charger.
They show/mention the leather case for the 12 at 37:28 during the presentation. So either that was a mistake on their part or it's just not available yet.
I'd guess not available yet, otherwise it's a big oversight to not edit it out. That was a clearly leather image when he said leather.

Hopefully just a delay in putting them up. I’ve been using the leather cases for my last two iPhones. The feel and durability are great.
I really hope that’s the case. They also haven’t put up the MagSafe duo charger so maybe they’ll appear when the preorders go live on Friday?
Maybe they have issues with leather & MagSafe? I'd still prefer the leather folio regardless of whether it supports MagSafe charging or not.
Not everything is about protecting the phone.

They mentioned a leather case and a leather folio for the 12. Nothing for the Pro or Pro Max. Although it’s hard to believe they would release leather cases for the 12 and not for the higher end Pro models.
