No GPS only model with SS series 4

I believe you can change the sports band in an apple store. I seem to remember doing that for series 2 (for a limited collection of colours).

Was surprised about this too. $749 for the S4 SS with sport band feels steep, though I did just sell my S2 for almost $300 which helps.

Really? So, you're saying that I can pre-order SS+Sport online on Friday, then when I receive it, I can go into a store and exchange Sport for Sport Loop at no charge?

I'm disappointed that I have to get LTE to get stainless. And I'm more disappointed that the choices are white sport band (which I've had for years now... don't need another one) or Milanese.

I'm not sure how that would work? It's not like we'll have a box to return it in????? It's worth a try... Being stuck with just the white band is like throwing away $50 if you already have one! I don't want a fancy Milanese....

So i'm "wasting" an extra $100 for LTE I don't want and won't use and and "extra" $50 for a band I already own.....

On my series 2 (my current watch) I opted for in store pick up and switched the strap out with the rep as I purchased it...I seem to remember being told there were only a choice of 2 or 3 colours.

It is a shame Apple doesn't offer more choice on the website.
