No heart rate in running or walking workout

Hi,
Since switching to an iPhone 8 plus with iOS 11.1 beta my AW 2 with os 4.0 does not show the heart rate in the outdoor run or walking workout anymore.
Other workouts like crosstrainer or indoor cycling show the hr while exercising.
Any idea how I can solve this?

Have you tried unpairing you watch and then repairing? Also reboot both devices.

I had to pair the aw with the iphone 8 plus although I restored it from a backup (iphone 7).
I can do it again.
And yes, I restarted both devices but that had no effect.

Newtons Apple is saying to un-pair and then re-pair it to you iPhone 8. After doing this then check.

Unpairing and re-pairing did not help. I did not set-up the aw as new but used an existing backup.

Problem solved. I did not realize that I activated the energy saving mode for activities. Then the hr is not monitored during walking and running.
