No heart rate while listening to music?

Hello,

normally my Apple Watch (Series 4) measures my heart rate every ~10 minutes.
But when I listen to music on my iPhone using AirPods and showing the music remote on the watch the heart rate won't be measured.

Is this normal behavior?
It's quite a bummer because normally I'm more active while listening to music.

No. It does not even happen on my Apple Watch series 3. Your watch does not behave normally.

I listen to music every day on my AirPods via my MAX and me Apple Watch still tracks my HR no mater if in an exercise routine or not.
