No hotspot option

I upgraded my iphone5 plan on Verizon so that I can get hot spotting, but yet my phone does not have the "personal hotspotting" option like my wife. How do I get this option? I rebooted the phone but no luck. 🙁

Yes, family unlimited text and talk with 4gb of data.

show me a screen shot of your settings menu where it should be. also, under settings > general > about, what carrier version does it say? Verizon 14.1? have you tried rebooting the phone?

Do a reset network settings.
If you still dont see it call Verizon to see if they need to enable it on their end.
