no idvd ?

hello when i click on idvd it says it quit unexpectedly and to do a relaunch but when i click on relaunch it says reset and relaunch, which i do but it keeps saying relaunch,any ideas how to gei it back please?

I'm not sure, but iLife might be on the System Installation DVDs.

yes i have run several software updates and i will check the disks that came with the minimac.
