no ilife '08 apps will open

ok, so i don't know if this started after i installed the new imovie update, but i went to open imovie and it just bounces once and then does nothing. i tried all the other ilife '08 apps and none of them work either! please help

Try moving com.apple.iLife08.plist to your desktop.

No I wasn't kidding , put it back where you found it.

Then make sure your pictures/movies/garageband projects/iWeb Domain file (its in [home dir]/Library/Application Support/iWeb/). Then you could try reinstalling the applications from the CD.

It should be in [Macintosh HD]/Library/Preferences, but hopefully a reinstall should solve your problem so don't worry about it .
