Is putting a banner image in your signature available at some post count level or is it just not available to use at all? I looked and tried but I couldnt upload an image into there

Ditto on no image signatures. Those are the scourge in my pants. The rotten apple in my eye and the pins in my cheeks. (I would do away with avatars and signatures altogether as well. And no smilies. And no leet speak or multiple exclamation points. And no misspellings. And no terse or idiotic subject headlines.)

i agree mostly with you, although i find the 'tar size here to be a good one and helps identify who is posting, so i like them, and i like the smilies too!! but i can agree with the rest.

Irony is seeing Lacero describe the word "terse" as if it was a negative thing.

thank god no, their so distracting and increase load times. I like smiles because you can get a sence of the person's emotions....

This is one of the many reasons why I like this forum (along with the quality, the "family" feeling and the great discussions and mods). While googling "stuff", I sometimes stumble upod these gaming or "1337" forums. Uhh. Black background. Green or white text. Ads galore (including pr0n). Clutter. And worst of all: these big banner-flashing-color-eyehurting signature banners. So I just quickly close the window and go meditate at forums.macrumors.com. Ahh...

The fact that you can't put pictures in your signature, and the fact that you can't post new threads directly in the wasteland, are the only two things I don't like about Macrumors. ;) :D

Seriously, I started going to Aximsite a little recently, and yes, oh, yes, MR is muuuuuch better off without signature images. :)

True. :D But on the same token, I prefer not to write too wordy a reply since many people will not read past a couple of sentences, so the message gets lost in a sea of words. I do believe brevity and judicious use of words can convey more meaning and expression than an overly long reply such as this reply I am writing in white colors to make a satirical poke at your reply.

However, I wish to not give off the impression I am terse in my response on the forums. If I do have things to say, I always try to write as clearly and briefly as possible using one train of thought.

My non-loquacious nature means I do not expound on subject points that may have already been covered in past posts in the same subject threads.

Whew! I'm tired now. Need some rest.

You mean these?

Oh hell no!

BTW, how do I make images appear actual size? (So people don't have to click on them)

I agree about the whole no images in sigs thing. My eyes would probably bleed.

Here, do you want our forums to look like this?

It's ironic, one of the users, yellowduck, seems to be "interested" in llamas. Don't think that's me, it's not! :p

llama (the flying one)

Hey, writing in white is fun. Weeee!

I sometimes wonder if the subject of Lacero comes up in the private forums that I'm not privy to in the public forums.

God I hope not.

Not as far as you know. ;)

And good job correcting your use of the word "too" before I did.

Yes, Though I'd think that all MacRumors Regulars should be able to have a avatar, but that'd be too much I suppose

I better look up 'terse' in a dictionary before I make a fool of myself infront of all these people.

I thought the same as a regular, but now I'm glad the avatar post count is set to 500. It's much more rewarding. :p :D
