Finally got Lion installed on my iMac I bought off eBay and decided today to try out El Capitan before installing Mavericks on it. I didn't have iMessage in Lion but I thought El Capitan did. It isn't under Applicatons, I searched in Spotlight and checked the Mac App Store and no iMessage. Can I not get iMessage on my make?

Messages isn't supported on Lion. You need Mountain Lion or newer.

EDIT: Nevermind, I misread the message :D

It's actually in the Messages app on both iOS and OS X. iMessage is the service, and no apps are named after it.
