No iPhone 7 BMW Love??

My iPhone 6s had no issues connecting to and playing my music in my 2015 BMW... I just purchased the iPhone 7 and after only a few seconds, the music stops playing in my car but keeps going on my iPhone. At one point today, my infotainment system in my car froze and restarted. LAME!! BMW & Apple need to get it together.

iDrive in my E90 and E70 will recognize it and then crash and reboot. Tried to contact BMW about it and they said they're having reports of it all over the globe and a fix is in the works. Sigh

It's likely BMW's firmware causing the issue. A software patch can repair the issue.
