No iPhone rebate for Verizon?

Last year there was a big rebate from Verizon for pre-ordering and trading in any phone.

I have not seen anything like it this year. Hopefully they get that out in the next couple of days!

That wasn't announced until after the iPhone was and closer to release of it.

It will most assuredly by the same this year. All of the mobile carriers will be clambering to cannibalize each others' customers.

It could be coming. Right now they're trying to get people to trade in their 3G phones and upgrade.

i saw an advertisement somewhere (maybe via email) saying there should be a similar thing happening for the iphone5 ($200 trade-in), which is what i plan to do. but it didn't mention exact dates. i am guessing they will announce tomorrow or the next day.
