yeah, that was the kicker for me. i couldn't get my phone to drop a call at all. so i'm really happy to see that not being an issue with my phone. the bonus was zero proximity issues.
i hope others with week 30+ builds have just as good luck as myself and iTiki have had.
That's also good to know. I've heard some other people mention that week 23 was good.
If you look through that link I provided above, you'll find the results were all over the place. It seems no build is any better than another.
My opinion is that most people weren't dropping calls, but instead became fixated on trying to make signal drop by touching the seam, holding the phone in a way that would make it drop or just messing around with it trying to make it fail.
Now that it's water under the bridge....sort of...people are just using the damn phone and it's working like it should. Of course there are exceptions to that but...
My phone is from week 29 and everything is fine but the antenna. I am able to make 2 bars drop with the grip and I have had dropped calls in 1 bar zones. Could it just be the wireless signal areas that people live in? Because I find it hard to beleive that phones from the same factory made during the same week act soo differently.

I have a week 25 with the antenna issues, but I have a case and i avoid the spot when I have the case off. No issue for me either lol.
I have a week 25 and have not been able to recreate the antenna issue...hmmm
83029 here. So far I dont think I have any issues, but I do have the antenna problem if I cup the 'area' tightly. But just putting a finger on the black line wont do anything.
Anyone have any ideas what I can test for besides the death grip? Proximity sensor has been perfect, no issues at all.
quick question, I noticed people's first 5 of the serial number are numeric but my phone starts of 7TO29. Is it normal to have letters ?
I can't replicate the signal problem, and I don't have the proximity issues, either.
Some people have mentioned a dead pixel or two. You might check for those? Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it. Just enjoy it!
I just realized something with the death grip I can do, even though my bars drop when I do it, it has zero affect on phone calls, I have even tried squeezing as hard as I can during a call, and even though my bar drops to 1 it does not affect the call at all.
But when doing speed test, as soon as I squeeze the grip my speed drops immediately. Maybe it affects only data and not voice?
My week 29 came with 4.0, not 4.01, but I just installed 4.01
Out of respect for the above I will not give specific numbers. What I am happy to report is that finally I got one that works as a phone. It took four, but now I have one that will hopefully last until iP5 (or whatever it's designated) is released.
