No left click???

For some reason this morning my left click is not working. Right click is but no left. I have tried my magic mouse and my trackpad but its the same.
When I opened up my laptop this morning on safari whenever I moved the mouse it was selecting everything and I could not undo this so I restarted but no joy.

I cant access anything as I have no left click. What do I do?

Sounds like you have either your trackpad or mouse button stuck in "button down" state.

not sure how to get around that, possibly a hardware problem.

try disconnect the mouse (turn off, unplug, whatever) and see if it still happens.

if so, maybe your trackpad is dead.

Sorted. I was not at my desk but at my meeting table and I just checked my magic trackpad I have on my desk and when rhey cleaned my office on friday they must have knocked my speaker as it was holding it down.

Moved and all sorted. Thanks
