No live photo shuffle feature on lock screen?

Has anyone worked out whether this is possible?
I can shuffle photos or have one live photo but when I pick live photos to shuffle it doesn't use the live animation.

Oh no! I don’t have the beta, but I’ve been reading what I can. I was really looking forward to having multiple Live Photos in a Lock Screen! Do you think it’s a bug or it’s working as designed?
