No longer receiving American Express purchase notifications

    I used to receive a notification each time my card was used. Now I don't get any notifications. Everything is turned on in notification center but I'm not getting any notifications. I've seen people having the same issue with American Express but I haven't seen anything that might be a fix. My fiance has an American Express card and she gets notifications without issue.

    Try turning off the notifications. AMEX should acknowledge that they're turned off, and then turn them on again. They should send you another message saying they're turned on. Also make sure your phone number is correct.

    Try resetting the notifications in your account on the AE webpage.
    Turn them off and back on.
