No mail notifications in notification center

I have mail notifications set to banner.

None show up in notification center.

What am I missing?

Silly question, but do you have the "Notification Center" setting switched to "On" for Mail?

That's exactly what I was going to ask since it took me 20 minutes yesterday to figure it out.
