No mail / phone calls / or MMS till reboot

For some reason on my wife's iPhone 3GS she randomly has stopped receiving e-mails / phone calls and MMS messages till she reboots. It is happening about once a day. I have tried resetting network settings and am about to do a restore. She is currently on 4.3.1.

Thoughts? Worth taking to AT&T service center?

Still need some help with this one. Any options other than a new phone?

never had a problem with the iphone yet but my blackberry would do that a lot the carrier had me call this *##### number and it updated my roaming list for better coverage it might be something like that call your carrier
