I was planning to go get me a new MBP 17" today in London, but rang ahead yesterday to save any wasted journey.

Lucky I did, as I was told the 17" MBP's are still not in stock and there is no scheduled delivery time there.😕

Does anyone have insight as to why this should be, or maybe even, when it's likely to be resolved?
 
Apple has not shipped a single 17" MBP yet...no word on the reason. AppleInsider said it may be another week or so before they start ramping the manufacturing.
