No mirroring on my ipad2...

...but I have airplay working fine. The airplay icon is not in the multitasking dock anywhere at all.

So, multitasking dock. No airplay icon... So no option to mirror.

Yet I am quite able to play music on my ATV2 using airplay, as well as video using airvideo...

So where is my mirroring option, not to mention the airplay icon on the multitasking dock?

Anyone have an idea?

I've had this a few times. If you turn it off and then back on it sorts it out (well it did for me on mine).

Your welcome. Just like any computer, if you are having issues always turn it off and on again to see if it resolved the issue. Enjoy your mirroring.

I have had this issue on an iPad4 recently.

The thing that did it for me permanently (as the reboot worked until I disconnected from airplay, then tried to re-stream shortly after) was to reboot the router as well as the Apple TV I was using.
