Surely there is already a thread about this....
Yes, four colors. Did you watch the keynote?
The 6+ not the 6s+
Or the 6.....no gold color.
They've discontinued gold for the 6 and 6+.
Yeah 6+ down there is no more gold option. Didn't catch it until I saw an article about it on the The Verge. They did it last year with the mini 3. You got gold and touch id. If you really want it you have to go to the 6S and up.
So the value on the 6 and 6+ gold just went up?
Sweet !! Im selling my gold 6+ 64gb verizon unlocked looks like i should charge extra for it being rare
Why did they do that?
Who's going to buy a 6 or 6+ at this point?
Oh... Sorry. I missed that. I bet you can still find them in the retail stores though.
I know that, but that's not the point. They didn't discontinue the gold option on the 5s. There is no actual scarcity of the color, as it's just paint, it just seems weird to offer the 6 in all colors except the gold.
They still offer the 5s and 6, why take out the gold on the 6? It just seems really odd to me.
Looks like they've now discontinued Gold for the 5S too. Probably to cut back costs or to up-sell customers to the S6 models.
Yes but the 5s has a different selling point, its smaller.
Why would they continue to sell the full line of 6 and 6+ when they upgraded the same model type?
Can you still buy an iPhone 5? Nope just the 5s.
