No more diacritical marks (é) in German-language keyboard layout since iOS 4.2.1

I am missing accents like é, è, ê, ë and lots of others. They were there before the update. The same on iPhone and iPad. Now I have to switch to English or French layout for those letters. Why did Apple forget or cancel those important characters in the German keyboard?

As a passionate Citroën driver (but only the old limous) this little bug is a medium catastrophe. 🙂

You should mention that too - maybe Apple will feel bad for you and fix the bug more quickly.

Well spotted - quite big issue. Wonder if 4.3 (mid-december?) will fix this.
