In the last 5 years or so I have always updated the OSX when it was issued - until last year. I was fed up with the early problems that always appeared with the new operating system. So, until this morning, I was still on El Capitan.

As Sierra is on the *.3 I decided that today I'd update my Mac and MacBook Air. What a difference! Absolutely seamless updates on both machines. That's the way forward for me in the future.

Mind you, I cannot see much of a difference in day to day usage.

I'm thinking the exact same in the next macOS update I'll not update directly I'll wait until .3 or something like that.

I always wait for the .1 or .2 version and watch the forums how the new OS is running for others.

I tried High Sierra in an alternate universe, and had all kinds of problems.
So glad I stuck with Sierra here! 😉
